
The Amazon Fire Phone has to be 2014's largest Android Flop. More than likely one of the biggest reasons for this is because while the Fire Phone is based on Android it does not feel like a traditional Android device and you are incredibly limited as to what you can do with the device. You are essentially locked into only using Amazon. Google Apps and the Play Store are not built into this device since Amazon would rather you never use your Google accounts. This means that if you had previously had Android devices and have bought plenty of apps, movies, and music through the play store you will lose all of that on your Fire phone.
