Yes, houndstooth has the right steps for the stock browser.
Here are my current rankings as of this minute. Please note that I personally like a) tabs, b) ability to set desktop/computer user agent c) renders quickly and acurately and performs well
1)dolphin hd - tabs pretty good (don't work so well in fullscreen after the update). turn off open in overview too.
2)dolphin - tabs quirky but good once you learn it
3)xscope - good tabs, but sometimes frustrating because you can't click links or it doesn't render the page properly or acts funky. also, can't edit bookmarks, no http:// in address bar, I could go on
4)opera mini - no tabs but super fast. kinda quirky to use and can act funky. CAN UPLOAD FILES...what other browser can? none?
5)skyfire - other than flash video (which it barely seems to handle), what's the point? it's pretty fast but no tabs!
6)steel - nice early browser. needs update.
7)stock browser - no tabs, can't set user agent. runs reliably though.
