How to create avatar

I was wondering where to get an avatar of yourself. Is there a link to a website anyone can provide? Most of the websites from a Google search bring some up that look kind of shady or are just advertisements. Most of the devs have some pretty cool looking avatars. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
