How to check manufacture date?

I see people posting about the manufacture date of their phones...can someone tell me how to find out that info? (packaging, phone interface, etc?)

ugh...which one of these is the manufacture date?

I see 5 diff barcodes, each with diff alpha-numeric stuff - the closest thing to a date-like format would be the 3rd barcode down with a "08/10" below it...not sure if that means anything

help?

You'll see five barcodes under your battery, right under your third one it has the date, it'll look like this XX/XX

the xx/xx cannot actually be the date

Because mine is 05/10 but I received it in March/10
