How to bkp all contacts in one swoop to Google

How can I backup all my contacts to Google without going tthrouh them individually ?

On your phone go to contacts in app drawer. Click on the menu icon, Manage Contacts, select export contacts to SD Card. You can then import that file on your SDcard to your Gmail account via a computer.

Gmail > options key > Accounts > options key > Account settings > touch your account under Manage accounts > Sync Contacts now. Or you can setup gmail to autosync and include your contacts there.

Did the .vcf export, then import method. Now if I can understand why I imported my contacts, i'd be at ease, hmm
