It took me calling three times for a csr to tell me about reprogramming the phone. They did credit the charge to my account every time though. Hijack over! :-)

There are a million out there. If you ever send a text to a number that doesn't require seven digits (ie someones phone you know) then chances are it is a "premium" text messaging service and they will charge you the monthly subscription fee.

Yep just like me, same here, the 450 minutes for outside the network hardly get used, my bill is right around what you are paying, $40 for the 450 min plan, $10 for the text plan,$6 for insurance, and $30 for unlimited data, plus those f taxes, text should be included in the data plan, but those f crooks got us by the nuts. Save yourself $10 go for the 500 outside the network text plan and vzn to vzn unlimited text plan which is only $10, I was paying them an extra $10 a month for over a year for no good reason, just ask them to check how many texts are used outside your network, if its less than 500 then just go for the $10 text plan.

500 anytime, unlimited night and weekends starting at 7:00 with unlimited text,pics and data with insurance. o yea and 1300 flex minutes for $108. :) :-) :^)

My bill is for 4 phones, one of which we don't use. They wouldn't give me an early upgrade and I wanted a smart phone so I added a new line to get the cheaper price then switched the smart phone over to my number. 700 shared minutes (which we don't even touch), $30 unlimited text package that covers all 3 phones, only 1 is a smart phone and $30 for that data plan. All together it was about $175 a month but now I get a 17% discount through work on just my main line and not my data plan so it's like $160ish a month. What sucks is if I would have gotten my phone before they did away with the unlimited I would have gotten the 17% off my data plan too but since it's not unlimited I don't get a discount on it and just get a discount on my main line. Also I get 25% off accessories too which is cool. Doesn't include phones though. That would be SWEET. Honestly I wish they had a family share plan with LESS than 700 minutes cuz we never even touch that cuz most everyone we call is verizon and when we call eachother it's free! Perfect example right now Im exactly halfway thru this cycle and we've used a whopping 105 peak minutes! 700 is way overkill!

We have 4 phones (one line we have as a emergency, plus I wanted a upgrade that I was not due for ;-) ) 3 smart phones. We share 1400 minutes, and have the $30 4G unlimited data package, and I also have a 20% discount through work. My monthly bill is about $205. With the new line, it will be about $220.
 
Alltel plan: 1000 minutes, 2 lines $75, includes 11 Friends & Family. Verizon unltd data $30, 600 text $10, 250 text $5, ringback, visual vm plus taxes equals $140.59.

My Razr and her DX2...grandfathered on unlimited data (hell yeah...can't wait for 4G in my area) and typically use between 25-30gB a month!! Free mobile to mobile, nights and weekends. 700 shared minutes (i think..may be 750). All for $149 a month. I should note too that I have a 17% monthly corporate discount and get 25% off all accessories. I think I have a sweet deal but will read other posts to compare.
 
Mine cost 130 xD i got unlimited talk and text with DOUBLE THE DATA 4 gig plan xD useless oh well i barely use it anyways i mostly have wifi where im at whether it be work school home etc lol
