how many are switching to GB from Liberty?

yeah like u said. I think the newest is RSDLITE 4.9. and you can get that from TBH app too.

I made the switch and I'm loving it, especially since Jrummy updated Droid X/2 OC to work with GB.

I also have made the switch to GB. Its good so far but im sure I will at least try out the new liberty when its released. But getting the root for GB at least showed me how to sbf since I have never done it before.

I'm still running Liberty 1.5 but now that Gingerbread has been rooted I'm thinking of making the switch.

Where are you guys at? Anyone already move over to GB or are you guys holding out for a GB Liberty ROM?

I finally made the switch. Its pretty awesome with the blur and whatnot. The word i would use to describe it is "pretty". Though i made the mistake of trying to just install the rom on top of liberty...lol, long day. I had to sbf to full .340, then installed the pre rooted version and it is great. Smooth and fast with droid x oc and with all the features it has i just cant wait to see how mind-blowingly awesome "liberty 2.0" or even 1.75. But for now im sticking with the gingerbread...At least until we are blessed with some liberty-bread greatness. dancedroid

I am on the pre-rooted GB release right now...and it "seems" nice...but I see a Liberated DX in my future again...

What I would like to see is what Liberty can do on GB...I have a feeling it would be rather sweet as hell...maybe we will see in a month or two...

I'm on the rooted GB, Kejar already got Droid Overclock working on it too. I miss the Liberty Toolbox, but Gingerbread has some really nice touches. My only fear is that Liberty for gingerbread will be for the Thunderbolt =(. Still a year before I can switch phones without paying a ridiculous amount of money.

I use the imoseyon mods on my phone. He has been able to get his newest version of mods universal across tblot, x, d2, & x gb. I don't know how difficult it would be to do liberty that universal. May not be possible being such a larger file. Just some food for thought.

I ran pre rooted until the rooted came out. Wow....very impressive. I am sure Team liberty is working on Rom for GB.

I installed rooted GB yesterday. Yeah, it's fast and benchmarks higher than Liberty 1.5, but with all the crappy animations and whatnot, it feels slower. Even with Launcher Pro squashing most of the blur nonsense I still don't like it. I'm SBFing back to 2.3.340 right now so that I can jump on the next Liberty when it drops.

Granted it's significantly better than the last official release and blur almost doesn't totally suck, but Liberty is just a different animal.
