How many Apps?

Is there a certain number of apps that you can have before they start slowing down the phone or causing problems? Just curious.

I do not know, but I currently have 97 apps on my DX and I am not noticing any signs of slowing down.

I currently have 30 apps running from Market and Droid running smooth as only a Droid should! dancedroid

The total number of apps on my phone varies from day to day - just because I will download and test some of them out...the range can be anywhere from 85 to 110 on the phone at one time - no issues with performance unless I get one of those rogue apps LOL...

I have fifty apps, on a Droid 1 and there is no slow down, I have pushed more than fifteen of them in the system using only 82mb of my 256mb allowance

I have 37 apps that I downloaded and use. No slowdowns here at all and all of the apps fly.

The only exception would be Handcent which, after a week of use, decided to randomly lock up my phone and the only thing I could do was pull the battery to reset. I removed Handcent until the problem is fixed sometime in the future.
