How do you paste a number into the dialer?

I have found that sometimes the numbers I need to dial are not able to be 'tapped' to call and I would like to know how to take one that I have copied to clipboard and paste it into a phone dialer. Can't seem to do it with the dialer I have.

Can it be done? if not, is there a different dialer that will allow for that?
