How do I get phone to stop saying "Droid" when it turns on?

I dont know, but mine stopped doing that after a few days of owning??
I actually miss it

It seems my Droid reboots in randon ways.
Sometimes it goes from the M(motorola logo) to the pulsing red eye thing, sometimes it goes from the M to being booted????

No it didn't work! Says "Droid" periodically. Why? and how do I turn that off?

Should be the notifications setting as a previous poster said. Which phone are you using?
