Well, I must be stupider than the stupidest person in the world who started this thread.

I just started using an Rugby Smart, 2.3.6 Gingerbread, put music on for the firs time, and NONE of the above advice applies or works. There is no pause button,
no exit button, no option in any menu or settings... it's absurd..

I came from a Nokia Symbian flip smart phone and it seems like light years ahead of this nonsense in comparison. Do you mean I really have to shop, search, and download apps, or write my own, just to provide a stop and play button? Really?

I have to go online and do google searches to figure out how to stop the music? Really?

Seems like everything I try to do on this wastes another hour of time.. unbelievable...
