Hotspot working with no root or plan?

Anyone else find this happen? I tried the mobile hotspot on my G2 just for the heck of it and it works great. Keep in mind I dont have root, and I don't have a hotspot plan. Any ideas how or why this would be?

Nevermind, I just found out it is included with all the share everything plans. I guess once you're off unlimited they dont change extra for it, since they are already screwing you. I never knew that. I learned something today.
