Hotmail account email Message send failed

i am using the standard email client and added my hotmail account to it.
the problem is, that i can receive emails, but i can't send emails to other persons or replay an mail.

i the configuration is right and the password, etc are all ok, hope you can help me.

Can you set the outgoing server's port? Maybe try 587.

Maybe try K9 email client instead of stock.

This might sound like an insult: get rid of hotmail

Maybe you should use gmail

Send issues with a new setup is almost always a matter of not using the correct port setting. Search "hotmail port mobile".

You're not connected to WIFI, right? Shut it off when trying to config your email.
