My DROID bionic gets pretty warm for some reason. Not running alot of apps. Might be on the phone for a little while and it still gets warm.

Is any of this normal?

Ya im stock and not many apps. Facebook and twitter are usually the only things that always run but mt phone didn't get warm when I first downloaded them months ago.

There"s alot factors @ play here
Examples
Weather hot/cold
3g/4g
In pocket long/short time
On/off charger
Direct sun light/in shades
Screen brightness
Wifi tether on/off

Its normal for any arm dual core phones temp @ 85-100°f depending on the factors above
A few time i hit 127°f :icon_eek: When i was using wifi tether , charging, room temp 85°f

My bionic also runs hot at times. I am stock and don't run a lot of apps. I installed a phone overheating app and it says it's around 117°

Anything that draws power will heat the battery and other components. The three big draws are the screen, transmitters, and the CPU. Moving a lot of data or talking on the phone will use all three, and it will get hot.
