I think we should just wait until there's some sort of confirmation to this. None of my sources are confirming this at all.

I call total BS. There is no incentive for them to go tiered this early on.

What happened to by summer time?

Thursday is technically by summer...

I'm not totally convinced either but it really doesn't have any impact on me anyway since I'm locked in with unlimited.

If this is true, I'll be so pissed. I can't get the phone till April 10th.

And you just gave the best reason why there is no incentive. People will continue to look at 3g phones or stay with their current phone instead of upgrading to a capped plan. If capping was such a great idea, they would have done it on 3G years ago. Notice they still haven't?

They will almost certainly cap 3g at the same time as 4g...

Agree.. Skull One.. will they cap sometime in future or change plans to tier.. Def IMO.. right now.. I think they are trying to figure out hte normal usage for 4G before they can do that. My data usage doubled since I went with the TB.. Yeah sure I have been testing out and using a little more, but it is def showing more data being used then when on 3G.. Got the same apps and same widgets and same sync as my D1, so didn't think it would be different, but according to my usage details I am almost at 3gig for the month which is a gig over my normal use. Next month will be the real test. Once my cycle starts over and the newness of the phone is settled I will really get to see what I am using.. Of course unlimited makes it nice so not really worried.. :)

Sheesh! My average usage is around 75MB a month. Personally I would welcome a tiered plan as long as they offered a $5 for 150 MB a month tier.

I've had my Thunderbolt since release date. Granted, because I can actually USE WIFI I've been using it a lot (at college, work, and home). But still, I'm at 100MB so far. About 3x my usual usage at this time in month. Probably hasn't helped that I'm uploading almost 3MB pictures to my friends vs the OG Droid's smaller pics.
