Home Key not working

Can someone tell me how to get my home key working again?

After much searching for the answer to this question...I finally found the solution. If you use TI Backup to Restore after a wipe / flash, DO NOT restore SYSTEM settings. You can restore apps with data, but if you avoid restoring system settings, you should be fine. I finally followed this instruction yesterday and so far, home and search keys / buttons are working normally.
