Home and Search buttons inop.......

Hey fellows, my Home and Search buttons quit working. They still vibrate (feedback) when I touch them, but nothing happens. When I tap the Home twice, same thing. Two quick vibrations but no change on the screen. I'm talking about the external buttons below the screen. I even tried changing the setting for double tapping the Home button, still no change.
I have the R2 D2 Droid2. Any ideas?

The same thing happened to me last night. For me I simply had to reload the rom I was using.

Thanks Hevy! I wiped it clean and reinstalled from a backup, all is well. Thank God I had made a backup.
