Hi... New to the Droids

I'm a newbie... Just got my Droid Incredible 2 yesterday from an old LG Versa. Was thinking that one or the Revolution, but the Rev was just too danged big in my hands. Plus, i had to hurry to get grandfathered in with Verizon.

Very sweet phone. Battery lasted from 3pm yesterday when I charged it up, to 11am today, but that was because I hurried up and let Pandora run non stop since about 9:30am today. I wanted to charge it earlier instead of running the risk it dies on the drive home today.

Welcome to the forum. Battery issues are on all devices but there are work arounds. If u have a task killer, uninstall it as it isn't necessary. Just be sure to end all other apps prior to exiting. Be sure to check out the Charge section for more info....have fun

Visit the Dinc2 section. But she is correct in the task killer department.

I have an original Droid and I let my battery get to 30%-40% before I charge again.

Been going for over a year on the same battery with no issues.

same here, using same battery and letting it run down about before recharging it, no issues. some devices are ok some not. luck of the draw?

I wasn't complaining about the battery. I actually was pleased with it. Considering my coworker has a Fascinate, and he couldn't last the day without it dying on him.

Its almost been 12 hours now and I'm at 80% with some heavy downloading and such. I've been transferring old ringtones too and videos over.
