Hey guys and gals, new to the site. Been reading threads on here for awhile just trying to get my Droid to where I want it. After rooting my phone I changed the boot up animation to a file I got from another site. The boot animation is the Playstation 1 start up. The animation works fine, but I have no audio. I already have the playstation audio, but no matter where I place it in root explorer, it still doesnt play. The animation works fine, but still no audio. Can you help the new guy out?

Whenever I have questions like that I look for a rom that has that feature working. Then look in the rom to see how & where they have it. I know this doesn't answer your question but maybe it will help.

Tapped from a Galaxy Nexus using Xparent ICS

A ROM is the system software persay - you can be running the stock ROM (no mods, is what the phone comes with out of the box) or a custom ROM (contains components of the stock ROM but is tweaked for less bloat and speed)...

A rom is a program thats been taken and zipped from a source other than that it was installed to. As an example, I'm able to play SNES or N64 games on my 360 because they're roms. Some roms are just better than others.:icon_ banana:

Welcome to DF!! Sorry to say I do not know much about bootanimations and the associated sound, hopefully you get it all figured out soon
