New to droid and wanting new animation

Hello to all, I'm just got my first droid, I have been a member on here for a while though. I've already rooted the droid and changed the boot logo. I would like to change the boot animation now. I found a thread on here that pointed to a site that had animations, but it appears to have lost all of them. I was wondering where was the best place to find these. I have been advised to run the phone for a bit before I get into putting custom roms or things of that nature. The phone was a new refurb. Thanks in advance.

Try flashing a custom ROM. Not only will you get a new animation (usually) you'll get all sorts of new features and a faster phone to boot.

Though its a poor choice of name, I don't think that site has pirateed apps. iirc its mostly metamorphs and icons.
