Help!

So I was rooted and I tried installing ud8 and my phone froze at that screen so I had to restore my phone and after I restored it it started closeing apps by them selves sayin there were errors. Set cpu stopped working I have done a full factory reset and tried rerooting useing ez root. It says I am rooted but it doesn't act like its rooted. Set cpu says no root. Rommanager doesn't work right and busy box won't install. Where do I start?

I just downloaded Wallpapers and now in my notification bar it says USB storage device is plugged in? Nothing is plugged in. I was trying to save the wallpapers to SD card. What to do?

When I downloaded I had wifi on. Does that matter?
