im trying to find out how i can go from android version 2.3.20 to gingerbread. can anyone help? im knida new to all this and dont wanna brick my phone. sorry if its inconvenient.

basically you root, install bootstrapper, I'd get titanium backup to backup my apps if I was you then boot into recovery, wipe data and cache and flash the rom. That's just a brief overview though. There are in depth guides you can find. But IMHO I wouldn't bother flashing the GB leak. Flash CM7. It's GB, but runs off the froyo kernel, and it's the shiznit!
