I recently rooted my HTC Eris and downloaded the wifi tether app, which i love and it works wonderfully with my laptop. however, i purchased the Velocity Cruz tablet for my kids and wanted to use the wifi from my phone for the wifi service and the tablet doesnt recognize the "hotspot". i tried to download a "wifi finder" app and all it said was that the connection was an "ad-hoc" connection. I have no idea what this means. and i dont know how to make the tablet recognize the wifi. is there an app to help me with this? or something else i can do? please help!!!
