Help with upgrade to Android 2.2 froyo.

Just got my droid today, and it's great so far. However, i've tried manually upgrading to 2.2 but without much success. Can someone walk me through it?
If it's any help my phone says it's running android 2.2.1. Thanks.

Then you're already on froyo. In fact that would be the newest moto release of froyo.

Weird, it doesnt have the clock or any of what ive seen in videos.

What clock are you looking for. Were the videos you've seen specifically about the droid or were they on another device? For instance if it was on an htc or newer moto then what you saw could have been attributed to their ui

They were for the Droid. Must be a widget i dont have. Oh well.

That's basically the htc sense clock. Often immitated but not native to motorola. The two widgets pictured there are beautifull widgets (top) and weather and toggle widgets (bottom)

They are both available in the marketplace but are both paid. I highly reccomend beautiful widgets though. I bought it orriginally to immitate sense but since its fully customizable this is what I have it like now.

If you want the bottom clock in spaz's first picture i'd highly reccomend buying Fancy Widget Pro. 2 bucks and you get the closest thing to HTC Sense clock.

when you buy the app does it charge it directly to the bill or another credit card charge?

Credit card. You'll have to set up a google checkout acct.
