I'm new at this, but did froyo 2.2 come out for Moto Droid?

I was just wondering if 2.2 froyo has come out for Moto droid, if so, how do I get it? I just got this phone, so I'm still trying to figure it out. Any help would be great. Thanks!

It started to come out but there were problems with it so they stopped it. I think the rumor is that its coming on the 12th of this month. The post is right above yours.
