Help with Unroot

I did the 2.2 update about a month ago. I was rooted with 2.1 and I did not unroot before I did the 2.2 update because I knew it would just go back to stock after the update. Anyway I was left with a superuser.apk icon in my app tray which I cannot remove.

I really wouldn't care but I'm about to sell my Droid X. So I would like to have it completely restored to stock so I can sell it. Can anyone help?

Oh and by the way I love the Droid X. The only reason I'm selling it is because my work gave me a Droid X to use as my work cell so I can't see any reason to carry around 2 Droid X's.

Thanks in advance for any help

Very simple, I would just SBF your phone to 2.2 and that will take it back to stock. Also don't forget to format the sdcard! Directions can be found on the rootzwiki.com site.

Do you have Root Explorer? That's how I got rid of lingering icon. But it will not get rid of root altogether. You will probably have to sbf like Abe suggested:)
