Just download/extract that file on your computer, plug in your phone, run the RazrUTILITY file, and select the root option.

Rooting devices today is a joke. I remember the incredibly tedious and unforgivable process of rooting the D1 two weeks after launch, when a root exploit was found and published. Good times LOL.

I got my Razr Maxx Saturday and had it rooted in 5 minutes. MotoFail + Razr Bootstrap and I had Eclipse 1.3 installed within 20 minutes. We've come a long way with rooting and there's no reason why anyone shouldn't do it. :biggrin:
