help with my new droid

well i just got my droid yesterday and am loving it and the first thing i did was download the aim app and now since ive been iming with it everytime i get an im it gets sent as a text also and it never did this with mobile im on my versa

Sounds like you mighta downloaded another app that would do that. my wife has some app on her phone that whenever someone sends her a message, posts a facebook status or sends her a message, it all gets dumped in one program and appears like a text message. what other apps did you download?

Check the settings and make sure there is nothing in there also sends you a text message. It might just be something you can turn off.
