Help sync'ing Facebook to contacts

On my first HTC Incredible, I was able to link my contacts and Facebook display images. However, when I was sent a replacement phone. (the same kind) I do not have this option. Why? I have looked for days, read all sorts of posts, but don't have the option to sync. Please help!

Hello,

I did look and tried that before posting my question. However, I do not show #3 on the FB app to be able to continue.. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no prevail.

Directions:
1) Open the Facebook app
2) Open Settings
3) Click 'Sync Contacts'
4) Change to 'Remove Facebook Data'
5) Click 'Ok'
6) From the Home screen, go into the Phone settings
7) Click 'Accounts & Sync'
8) Click on the Facebook account
9) Click 'Remove account'
10) Reboot phone
11) Open the Facebook app and set it up again
12) Set up the Sync as before

Did you go to your main menu settings and set up your Facebook account there? You go to Accounts and Sync and add a Facebook account. Try that.

Same here.....no #3 listed in my settings.
