So I've been trying to install cyanogen mod 7 and it wont work. Here's what I did
1. Went into recovery screen
2. Wipe cache partition
3. Install zip from SD card
4. Chose CM7 RC1
5. Rebooted
Then the blue android on the skateboard kept repeating...... any solutions.

Backup everything using titanium backup and then back up your current ROM then in recovery do a data wipe then a cache wipe and then install update zip

Well what stuff are you talking about? Your contacts, and paid apps will show up but not much else. Did you backup anything? Call log? SMS msgs? Your apps +data?

Your music is on your SD card so its safe. Your paid apps will show up in the market but not the free ones. None of your data will be saved. You were supposed to back everything up before installing CM7. Did you use ROM Manager?

Ok good. Get titanium backup and backup everything. When you download cm7 again choose backup ROM and wipe data. After that the install should go smoothly. You will need to install all Google apps, gmail, search, etc... because cyanogen isn't allowed by Google to include them in its ROMs.
