Help getting iphone headset to work on droid

I am thinking that I may have posted my question in the wrong section earlier. I am trying to find a way to get an apple headset to work on my daughters phone.

I would have posted in the Droid Accessories subforum. The only thing you can do is to ensure that the plug is properly seated in the jack. Sometimes it seems like it is all the way in when it isn't. Other than that, there's nothing you can do.
