Help convince me not to by a Galaxy Nexus...

The nexus uses a micro-sim card (smaller) so you will have to go to Verizon for a new Sim. As far as differences, android is android, you just have to get use to the little differences like the menu button being 3 dots located in different spots on the screen. Oh and we just got jelly bean, my old bionic was still waiting on ICS. Guessing that hasn't changed.

Well I don't mean differences android wise, I already have it on the OTA jelly bean and I rooted and put a rom on it. I'm just wondering with the having a new sim card with it can I switch back and forth from Bionic to Nexus or do I have to go in each time to reactivate the sim card?

That I don't know, I will say when I was sent my nexus in the mail I didn't have to go in to have in to activate it, I just had to put in the card they sent with it. You may be able to switch back and forth...

You will need a micro sim for the Nexus. You can then get an adapter and just swap it back to the Bionic when needed.

Alright thanks. Do you know if they care if the phone is rooted or has a rom on it when activating a new sim card?

Also does it have to be an actual Verizon store or can it be one of their small stores?

No idea, my phone was stock when activated and I was at Best Buy.
