Hello people! I'm a new guy

Picked myself up a fancy droid 2, and its my first smart phone ever. and my fist time in the verison network. As I was a alltel guy for 8 years :icon_eek:

I'll be trolling/ reading up and down this forum for the next week or so. trying to figure out what I can, cant do.

sounds like rooting seems to be the must do thing to get done first on these devices. so I need to see what happens if I brick it, and or if it's covered

lol at the stop asking thread. thats the exact thread i was looking for with in the last 30 minutes. something that can explain to me of any real benefits that i cant live with out while not having a rooted droid.

i get to work on over the road trucks and scan tool/lap tops to get things going but reading this forum makes me realize how computer illiterate i really am.

thanks for the warm welcomes guys. any other threads that may be a point of interest to a droid 2 user please let me know. if not i'm sure i can stumble across them sooner or later.
