Hey guys,

I'm not really new to the forums. I've been using it with out being registered for since I've had my phone, which is a couple months now. I came straight from the G1 so I'm familiar with Android. My G1 was rooted, but honestly everything I did on my Android phone didn't require root access other than the user interface (even so could be done with a home replacement minus the nice matching top notification bar).

I decided to go the unrooted route with the Droid. I'd just rather not unroot my phone everytime a new ota came that differs from the ROM. Downgrade but still happy.

So that's where I'm at. My name is Callista and I'm a Droid user.

Hi Callista! It's high time you joined us after lurking so long! I understand your hesitation with rooting. It's all good though because the Droid IS a great phone without doing all that!
