Hello Everyone!

My name is Trixia & I just joined the Droid Forum. I hope to be a Droid owner soon. Would like some feedback on which is the best Droid phone for me & my family. Can't decide between the following: Droid 3, Droid X2, Droid Charge or the Droid Incredible 2. Compared them & all sound pretty equal in quality & performance, but would like your feedback if one is better than the other for the next couple of years. Thanks.

Welcome to Droid Forums!! We are happy to have you here with us!!

Sorry to say I know very little about al of those devices (have never owned any of them) but you have already done your comparing which is step 1. I would recommend reading some reviews and checking the devices out in person and seeing what you think about them.

Hello and welcome to the forum!!

I have had 2 of those devices - if you like a slide out keyboard, the D3 is the only choice but if you are in a 4g area, the Charge would be a nice device...good luck on your decision and keep us posted!

Thx. I try to do a little research so I don't go into a decision blind & unknowing. With the little time I do have, I thought to just throw it out there & ask if one Motorola Droid was better &/or more efficient than the other. Of the Droids I listed, one was a Samsung. Would you be able to tell me if one manufacturer is better than the other? Motorola or Samsung? I have owned both & have been satisfied with both. With technology these days, I know competition is tough.

Thx for your input. My sons are over the slideout & prefer just the touch screen, but I'm game for either. But, I guess for speed & efficiency, the Charge 4G would be of more value to us (Verizon's family plan). May I ask if you have a preference between Motorola Droid or Samsung Droid? Does it matter?

Pretty much every phone has their ups and downs. And as far as Moto vs Samsung, you will get a large number of people who say Moto builds superior devices. I have owned phones by both and have had good luck with them so to me either is a good choice. But that is just my opinion.

Thx. It helps to hear unbiased opinions. I'm leaning towards the Droid Charge (Samsung) since it was the only device I had listed operating on the 4G Verizon network.

Definitely double up your research on them then if that's the way you are leaning. You are going to have it for a while once you make the decision so it is important to check them our thoroughly before hand.

Welcome to the site. I found out the hard way that it pays to do the research first! That is one reason why this site is so helpful. DancingNexus

Hi there, welcome from another newbie here. I have a D3 with the QWERTY keyboard and I love it - but if it's the touch screen only, you'll not want this. I got it because I wanted that feature. Moto is what mine is. My sister has a Droid that has touch screen only now after having one with the keyboard and she's miserable now. She really regrets changing. So I'd recommend thinking also about what you've had and are used to as well as doing your research. Take this into consideration as well. Just tossing in my two cents worth here. Have a great day. I agree with 'aqworld' "D3 is really good." Hope this helps. :happy3:
