Im currently on 2233 build version. And i want 2235 or 2238 but it wont let me flash the zip. Ive tried using RSD lite and Doing it from recovery but all i get from recovery is failed (status 7) can someone help me out please

You have to go back to .905 before you can move to either .235 or .238. Have you done that?

BTW to avoid confusion, .2233 was the last ICS leak with 4 digits, after that only 3 digits in the name.

After 2233 three digit numbers are used now so it is 229, 230, 232, 235, 238. I strongly suggest as others have to go to 232. 232 is very very good. 235 & 238 changes the security level. You need to flash back with the 905 fxz to get to a different ics build. The ics builds are made to only allow update from 905 and nothing else. Look for the thread in this forum section that allows you to do the process without loosing your data.

How do i revert back to 5.5.905. I need a method that doesn't require RSD Lite

Unfortunately it looks like the best way to go back uses RSD.

Some of the information you need is on Post #3 of this thread that tjk629 posted. Not only the first page, but also http://www.droidforums.net/forum/mo...ade-902-no-app-data-loss-116.html#post2217571

Some other info at http://www.droidforums.net/forum/motorola-droid-bionic/219330-droid-bionic-235-update-link.html

I'm going to repeat what others have said; it's best to go to .232 instead of .235 or .238. Not only is it stable, you can go back to .905 when the OTA comes. If you use .235 or .238 you can't because of a security change. You can go forward, but that'll require some things as well.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS WARNING:

For 232 or lower users, use INSTALL 238 For 235 users, use REINSTALL 238

If you fail to heed my warning and brick yourself, I can't be held responsible. I do not recommend this build. It has the same security as 235. More testing needs to be done on a few things.

*USE AT YOUR OWN RISK*

Ah, but you have .2233, which will be the ".232 or lower users." The ICE Bionic leaks are .2231, .2233 (yours), .229, .230, .232 (the best one to be on for now), .235 (new security) and .238 (same security as .235).

You dont have 233. There is no 233. You have 2233. I dont know why it is that way but it is. I will list every leak in order of oldest to latest:

2231
2233
229
230
232
235
238

Get the 232 leak. Trust me on this one.
Just stay away from 235 or 238. 232 will be the last leak you want until the official OTA comes.

Not saying 235 or 238 isnt better. You just want to keep the option in your back pocket to get back to the current official build.
