My daughter just bought the S6. On the lock screen her text messages that she receives show up. Of course she wants her privacy. We are wondering if there is a way of changing this? Prefer the old way of getting a notification instead. Thanks for any help!
Miller is right. On the Note 4, the option is under Sound & Notification, then under While Locked.
Show all content shows everything, including the text content.
Hide sensitive content will show that there's a text, but not show what it says.
Do not show notifications won't even show that there's a text.
Keep in mind that this is a blanket setting. So, if you like seeing the content of your emails, but not texts, hiding sensitive content will also hide the content of emails on the lock screen.
