Haptic Feedback

Hey I'm running Liberty 0.8. I just got a clean install on it. Everything is working perfectly except for my haptic feedback. I turned off HF in the settings but when I use messaging it still has the feedback. I wiped cache and dalvik cache. Not sure what else to do.
