Hanging at boot

So I SBF to 2.2 Froyo, I install the cyanogenmod and the fix.. and then I install the nightly, rather in reverse order nightly then apply the fix.. I boot up properly and the mod loads fine without any problems.. If I try to drop to bootloader again using Droid 2 Bootstrapper.. Hangs on the motorola logo.. Wtf?

you have to read the instructions first before flashing, you cant use any bootstrap recovery while using cm7 it has its own recovery

like i said if you were to do more research before flashing you would know,go into rom manager flash clockwork mod recovery and select 2nd init, thats the recovery that uses 2nd init roms such as the cm7

Haha, youre attitude sucks.. youre on a forum to help people - you're above it all attitude is just obnoxious and irritating. I've been flashing in and out of mods for over a year now on various phones and am completely familiar with the process so I will admit I might overlook little things and just go straight to flashing.. You dont need to continue to tell me "read, read, read" because if that was the case this forum wouldn't exist and no one would help anyone.. With that said - I once typed out a 2 page explanation on how to SBF for someone even though I could have just pointed them to my link because I like to help people whether they're ignoring other links or not. Thats why I joined this forum. So next time if you see any posts from me and you feel like being obnoxious ... dont answer and go do it somewhere else..

haha you really are an idiot,if your sucha "pro" at flashing roms obviously you woulda know that cm7 is not friendly with any bootstrap recovery,if your dumbass self would read everything before flashing you woulda known that. devs dont put out roms and instructions on how everything works for no reason, like what in every rom post says "WHAT YOU DO WITH YOUR PHONE IS ON YOU,IF YOU BRICK IT OR MESS IT UP ITS ON YOU" your ass got stuck on the "M" logo for being stupid & obviously your not familiar with the flashing process chus step number 1.. is READ THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FLASHING!

I'm sure this issue can be resolved without pointing the flaws in each others attitude.

Please use caution and learn EVERYTHING you possibly can before doing anything that may void the warranty of your phone. With that said, screwups happen and we all make mistakes. I came to this forum looking for help because I thought my phone was bricked, until I realized if I can see the new recovery I added, I haven't "bricked" anything yet. My point is we all make mistakes. It's good of marcieevee to point out that you need to use more caution when dealing with sensitive tasks that require all of your attention. His attitude sucks because he's probably seen a lot of these mistakes and he's tired of responding to the same old problems, but maybe he feels obligated to help anyway because he feels bad, or is just a helpful person.

Although it's never a wise decision to taunt the only person replying in your thread that seems to be trying to help, I understand why you did it. But my advise is to just ignore the rude people and look for help by avoiding it, especially if you want to stay on topic .. since this thread will just get closed or completely ignored if the fighting continues. :icon_ nono2:

I know someone telling you to "read the instructions" is like another person saying "Just Google it".. I'd try posting in a more general forum, or a rescue squad forum. Wish I could help more.
