Handcent is splitting my texts

I checked my settings, I have it set so texts will not split at 160, yet they still do. This begun happening after my last update.

Anyone have a fix for this?

They get split by default when using the stock messaging app and there's no way to change that. Perhaps that setting is irrelevant in Handcent at this point and you just have to live with it.

What exactly do you want to happen? You want it to just cut off and only send the 160 characters? Or have it convert to one long MMS?

I would prefer one long message. Most of my messages break at 160 with two or three words sent in the 2nd text.
