Handcent doesn't show all incoming contact messages

I am using the latest version of handcent, and until recently it worked flawlessly. Now one of the contacts messages never show up in the upper drop down screen. All other incoming contact messages show up there.

Have I accidentally changed something? Of course its the contact that messages me the most too.

Where do i look for incoming message alert settings?

I also see that when i press the handcent icon the contact doesnt appear in the handcent list. In order to find it, i have to press on the contacts button and find it in the list, select it, then when it opens you have to press on the little envelope, then it opens the handcent message list for that contact
