Hi Folks. I am having a weird issue that I cannot seem to resolve.
I have installed Handcent for SMS messaging. The weird problem I am having is that I am getting notifications to both the Handcent app and the standard messaging app. I have disabled all of the notifications in the factory app per the Handcent FAQ but this is still happening. How do I disable the factory messaging and rely solely on the Handcent messager for my texting?
Here is what I am trying to do. I have temperature sensors at work and I have them set up to e-mail a contact whose e-mail address is my VTEXT number and I have assigned a specific warning ringtone for that incoming SMS contact. Now I am getting multiples of the same warning text in both the Handcent app as well as the stock messaging app.
Any help would be appreciated!
