Grocery application that calculates cost of your groceries scanned

Grocery application that will calculate my bill by scanning the items in my cart? I haven't seen anything out there like this. I think it will be nice to have.

Without access to the stores database how would the app know what price to assign to the sku.

Whenever I scan something it shows a generic price I'm not looking for specifics just something reasonable
