Team d1 miui i beleive has stated that they want this to be a comunity rom. so i think they should ask for the assistance from cyanogen. there goal is to make a great rom for the comunity and there is an amazing amount of extrordinary developers on there team. i think maybe if the two where working together we could see alot of improvements on both sides.

cyanagon need the miui lockscreen and launcher as well as the back up app an ota update app and the battery setting like in miui.

i think as a comunity we need to get together and work on this.

plus with the amount of devs that would be working on it im sure we would see fixes for the keyboard also for when you have unread sms on lockscreen and preview it fixing it so it doesnt mark as read when you let go.

By the way zen you are an awesome dev and I love that you push out weekly updates I just think it would be nice to have several devs working on it.

Cyanogen has stated that cyanogenmod will always be a stock replacement with enhancements from the aosp community.

What cyanogen needs to do is work with the miui developers if he wants the enhancements from miui in cyanogenmod.

Team D1-Miui is focused on only bring what the miui developers put out to the Droid.

I agree. To my understanding, MIUI is ported, not built by D1-MIUI team.

With this fact...the only changes that can really be made are just changes with what have been given. We are basically at the mercy of what MIUI puts out in their updates.
