GPS Works on WIFI but not 3G?

can't find gps on 3g with full bars... but works fine using wifi. Is there anything I can do about it (other than exchanging?)

I had trouble with the gps on my Droid 3 when I first got it. At a forum member's suggestion, I downloaded and installed the app 'GPS Status'.

Once installed, I cleared the GPS cache.

1. Press Menu/Tools
2. Select 'Manage A-GPS state'
3. Press 'Reset'

If you still have problems, then do steps 1 and 2. For step 3, Press 'Download' (provides GPS assistance).

Since clearing the cache, I have had no problems with the GPS functions.

Thank you... that helped me find what my problem was... i had to enable cache on wifi and mobile networks, not just wifi.

I went ended up getting 3 different phones cause of it. Soo glad for the app. What a pain setting up the phone all over again soo frustrating. They only gave me 25 bux off my bill. It took hrs to set my phone up. Lol
