Hello,

I am having trouble with the GPS on my Droid Bionic. I am trying to use Navigation (blue chevron icon). When I try to navigate to an address, the map pops up, but it just says Searching for GPS... at the bottom of the screen. The Navigation has worked perfectly in the past. Does anybody know what's wrong?

Thanks,
Jack

It's just having trouble locking onto the satellite. Make sure to start navigation before entering your vehicle, that's what I usually do.

Sometimes you may even need a restart.

I just tried standing in the wide open outside, no luck. Is there anything else it could be?

Thanks

If you're rooted, download and run GPS aids free. It fixed issues on my razr maxx before I downloaded the JB update. Sometimes I'd have to enable Google location services and verizon location services as well as the stand alone GPS services, run gps aids and then load the navigation. Other times a simple reboot would fix the issue.
