GPS Help

Can someone give me some real basic settings that my phone should be set to to use GPS. I downloaded the lastest GPS update a few days ago and installed Google Maps. I must be missing something or some setting is not set up right as I cannot get it to work.

What isn't working or what is it doing? Just to not overlook the obvious, you do have gps enabled right?

GPS is enabled. there are 3 selections for GPS in settings, which one should be checked. Also when I downloaded google maps I got 4 new icons, Latitude, navigations, Maps and places. The GPS just days searching and nothing ever develops. Just wondering if there is something I missed.

I have Standalone GPS Services and Google location services checked. Maybe try downloading GpsFix from the market.
