fascinate and it's original gps problems ?

has the update to 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 resolved the gps problems it was having?

my friend just finished his update to 2.3.5 and his google map location seemed right on the nuts. i asked him to tell me what's up the next time he drives. reason i'm asking is because the only thing stopping me from getting either the fascinate or the charge were their gps problems.

It does seem better with the latest update, but can still be buggy in areas where the signal drops.

I've never had any problems with the gps until this recent update, go figure. Taking the battery out seems to fix it, other times it just sits there searching for location. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but lately too once in a while it'll lock on but say I'm 400 miles away nowhere near where I'm actually at yet it thinks its locked on. Very strange.

Gingerbread fixed my gps problem with the fascinate and also made the phone almost twice as fast. The only problem I'm having now are random unexplained shut downs. Some days it's fine, other days it'll shut down 2 or 3 times a day.
