Google voice widget

I long pressed the screen on my D1 and selected widget, scrolled down and said "hey gv has a widget now" so I put it on my screen. it gave me a preview of my last transcribed voicemail with a play button, so I said that's pretty cool but its on the wrong screen. so I dragged it to the trash, went to the screen I wanted to put it on and now when I open up the available widget screen its not there anymore.

does Google voice have a widget or did I stumble across the twilight zone?

Did you accidently delete the app? That can happen when trashing a widget.

I still have the app & it's good to know that I'm no crazy. I still don't see it so I'm thinking I my need to do the update which I never did.
