Google talk notifications

Is there anyway or any app you can download for the Droid Charge that will allow you to receive notifications on google talk IM's without the scrolling message at the top?

Also as to your question there is an app called "notifacation plus" by Jeff Moyer that might be able to work for you. Hope this can help
